Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming colors at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival Clackamas River at Carter Bridge

The Northwest boating community comes together at the annual Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival, the largest whitewater festival in Oregon. Take to the river with other rafters and kayakers or try your hand at a new water sport. Events include inflatable kayak, hard shell kayak, raft, cat boat/cataraft, inner tube, and drift boat races as well as stand up paddle board and open canoe events. Join in the on-shore festivities with vendor booths, music, and beer garden. Participants can register online - fees are from $10-$30, or enjoy watching the races for free from the riverbank and celebrate river stewardship and education.

Inviting Vines Garden Tour, Breakfast and Tea Rogerson Clematis Garden

The 2018 Inviting Vines Garden Tour includes four private gardens in addition to an optional breakfast and afternoon tea with docent led tours of the Rogerson Clematis Garden at Luscher Farm.
