The Fall months in Mt. Hood Territory are ripe with harvest festivals perfect for the family.
Take the kids to one of the many festivals like Liepold Farms annual Fall Harvest Festival in Boring which offers a giant selection of pumpkins and a 5-acre corn maze that is truly grand. Over in Aurora is Fir Point Farms which has the Charlotte's Web Corn Maze and their wildly famous apple cider doughnuts from their Country Grains Store, as well as a great u-pick pumpkin patch. For a spooky experience calm enough for small kiddos, take them to the Fantasy Trail at Wenzel Farm in Oregon City. They deck out the haunted trail with themed lights and spooky sounds including a giant castle and crooked house.
