The Imperfecta Art & Design Gallery is pleased to present [amorpha], a group art exhibit focused on abstract art that leverages elements such as color, geometry, lines, shapes, space, sound, and/or movement to provide commentaries on contemporary life. On view from March 8 to March 29, the show features new original artworks by local and international artists that were challenged to use their craft to communicate powerful sentiments in viewers, through artworks that provide rich, unapologetic commentaries on current issues, trajectories, or events – using any technique, style or medium. "When looking at art, I am typically less interested in work that is created as a decorative piece to prettify one's home, and more in artworks that provide powerful commentaries on current issues — be them political, socio-cultural or personal," shared Daria Loi, imperfecta founder and curator. Opening reception is on March 8, 5-7pm.
