Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming colors at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

All About Fruit Show Clackamas County Fairgrounds

Crisp Fall air has returned once again and The Home Orchard Society is inviting you to the annual All About Fruit Show! Attendees will be able to sample and experience over 500 varieties of rare and heirloom fruits including apples, Asian and European pears, grapes, quince, kiwi and more. In addition to showcasing a wide variety of fruit, local fruit orchard experts will be on-hand to help you ID some of your own home fruit, answer your fruit-related questions, and/or guide your future fruit orchard projects you may have plus provide informative presentations throughout the day. Grab a glass of fresh apple cider and broaden your fruit horizons! $7 admission.

Field & Vine Dinners: Tumwater VIneyards w/ TMK Creamery Tumwater Vineyard

Expert chefs pair locally sourced food with regional wines, highlighting the freshest ingredients in a 6-7 course family style dinner held at featured farms and wineries in the Field & Vine Dinners series. Tumwater Vineyard is the perfect setting with its landscaped pond, rows of vines and luxurious open-beam tasting room. Treat yourself to candlelit dinner featuring cheeses from TMK Creamery paired perfectly with wine from Tumwater. $95/person.

Halloween Fantasy Trail Wenzel Farm

Take a Halloween walk through a lighted, wooded "Fantasy Trail" decorated with spooky sights and sounds. Walk through a 40 ft. castle filled with Halloween scenes. You will also encounter a tunnel, maze, crooked house, suspension bridge and more on this themed self-guided walk. $7/person, cash only. Daytime hours 12 - 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Open every evening 7 - 10pm.

Fall at the farm is all about having a great time with family! Pick your own pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. There will be many fun activities every weekend including hay rides, cow train, pumpkin bowling, nature trail path, petting zoo, food court, beer garden and more. NW Motorsports Hall of Fame World of Speed Motorsports Museum

The NW Motorsports Hall of Fame celebrates the racers, designers, managers, and more that have helped make the Pacific Northwest’s long, storied motorsports history possible. World of Speed will honor icons of the Northwest in six categories: open wheel, stock car, sports car/GT, drag race, motorcycle, and person at large. Come join the 2019 class of inductees for a special dinner, drinks, and a wonderful night celebrating six people who have contributed much to developing motorsports of all kinds here in the Pacific Northwest. Sandy Library Haunt "A New Chapter" with Creatures of the Night Sandy Library

Terror comes to the Sandy Library in the form of a full walk-through haunted attraction with terrifying monsters, live actors and incredible effects, brought to you by the City of Sandy Library and Creatures of the Night. Dress in costume and join World of Speed for an afternoon of Halloween fun! Take part in a costume parade, explore the haunted auto shop, race pumpkins in the Great Pumpkin Race, and make your own “Trunk-or-Treat” bags for gathering treats and prizes throughout the galleries. All activities are included in $10 admission, which is free for World of Speed members.
