Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming colors at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

Concerts in the Park End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

Concerts in the Valley Happy Valley Park

Boring Beer Fest Liepold Farms

Local nanobrewers come together for this three-day beer festival! Yard games, live music and food make for a day of fun at Liepold Farms in Boring. Sample craft beer, cider, wine and even local kombucha. Admission is $20 and includes a festival glass and 10 tasting tickets. Use your Mt. Hood Territory Tap Trail pass for extra tasting tickets!

Canby's Big Night Out and Street Dance Downtown Canby

A weekend of fun in Canby begins with this evening street fair and dance. Find free family fun with live music and dancing, kids activities, food and beverage vendors, bouncy house and circus and more! The festivities run from 6-11pm.

Overland Tour End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center

The guided Overland Tour helps visitors walk in the footsteps of pioneers along the Oregon Trail Experience Interpretive Trail, which features replica animals and landmarks, such as Independence Rock and Laurel Hill. A tour guide will act as the wagon master, guiding visitors through a variety of hands-on activities and entertaining presentations about wagon packing, prairie wildlife, frontier camping and more. During the 1.5-hour tour, the tour guide will share fun facts about the dangers, tasks, and decisions pioneers experienced at jumping off towns, the Great Plains, forts, campsites, forks in the road, and their final destination in Oregon. Tours offered daily until 3pm, no reservation required.

Canby Dahlia Run: Half Marathon and 10K Canby Foursquare Church

Address: 2350 SE Territorial Rd., Canby, OR 97013

This scenic run takes participants through forests, along the Willamette River, through the quaint neighborhoods of Canby and, most notably, the half marathon takes you through the 40 acres of blooming flowers at Swan Island Dahlias. Half Marathon and 10K run/walk both begin at the NewLife Foursquare Church in Canby. Finishers receive a beautiful cut dahlia. Race begins at 7am.

English Cider and Cheese Experience Stone Circle Cider

Delve into English style cider at Stone Circle Cider! Four English West Coast cidermakers share their ciders, stories and exhibits at the new cider museum at Stone Circle Cider. Sample ciders, perries and cheeses from both Oregon and England and see how they compare. Tickets are $25 and include tastes of 8 ciders, 4 perries and 4 cheeses.
