Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Rock Of Ages: Youth Edition Lakewood Center for the Arts

Join for the 10th annual Birthday Party celebration for all of Tollen Farm's mini donkeys. This year will be the first time that they will have some mini foals born prior to the party! Come help Tollen Farms welcome them. Cake and lemonade will be provided for guests. Visitors will be able to pet the donkeys and take a farm tour. There will be a "carrot fund" jar out for donations. Meet all the animals and learn something about these very loving donkeys.

Farmers Markets Throughout Clackamas County

Visit our list of area Farmers Markets open through out the week from April through October. The farmers markets in Mt. Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.

Learn to Kayak Class Produced By: REI

This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of kayaking in a comfortable setting and at a relaxed pace. You will learn about proper strokes and paddling technique, and get the chance to practice these new skills on a beautiful, local waterway. REI's expert guides will also teach the basics of water safety, trip planning, and how to have an enjoyable time on the water. This is a great way to build a new skill set or improve upon what you already know about kayaking. REI provides kayaks, paddles and all necessary safety equipment.

Shop from local makers sharing their unique, handmade goods! Snuggle a baby goat on a tour, eat local farm to fork food. Fun for the whole family. They'll have kids crafts and a bounce house. Ticketed Tours are at 10 am 11 am, 12 pm, & 1 pm. You'll also see other awesome farm animals like ostrich, sheep, alpacas, and more! Free admission to enter the farm and walk around behind the fences. Tour tickets needed to enter in with the animals.
