Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Farmers Markets Throughout Clackamas County

Visit our list of area Farmers Markets open through out the week from April through October. The farmers markets in Mt. Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.

Join the City of Lake Oswego, Respond to Racism, Black Student Unions of Lakeridge and Lake Oswego High School and the Women of Color Alliance to commemorate the end of slavery with a community celebration honoring the historic day. Event program includes a special keynote address from Libra Forde, executive director of the Women's Foundation of Oregon, performance of the Black National Anthem by the Brown Sisters of Portland, Stomp n' Shake performance from the McDaniel Cheer Team and youth panel discussion hosted by the Black Student Unions of Lake Oswego and Lakeridge High Schools. Guests can also visit nonprofit booths, food vendors, artisans and more!

Juneteenth - West Linn Willamette Park

Oregon Renaissance Faire Clackamas County Event Center

Pasta Bowl & Pasta Making Workshop Sandy River Studio

Join Sandy River Studio to learn how to make pasta from the talented Olivia Hughes who is the pasta maker from Ava Genes restaurant in Portland. Start the session by making a ceramic pasta bowl from artist/studio owner Jaime Holub. Working with a clay slab & mold technique participants will make their own custom bowl and will also pick your glaze color. Then the class will move into making 1-2 types of pasta from scratch. This is a beginners class so there will be a lot of support and instructions. Afterwards we sit and dine together enjoying pasta, salad & wine! You will get to take home fresh pasta & you will receive your ceramic bowl 2-3 weeks later after it has been fired & glazed.
