Join Sandy River Studio to learn how to make pasta from the talented Olivia Hughes who is the pasta maker from Ava Genes restaurant in Portland. Start the session by making a ceramic pasta bowl from artist/studio owner Jaime Holub. Working with a clay slab & mold technique participants will make their own custom bowl and will also pick your glaze color. Then the class will move into making 1-2 types of pasta from scratch. This is a beginners class so there will be a lot of support and instructions. Afterwards we sit and dine together enjoying pasta, salad & wine! You will get to take home fresh pasta & you will receive your ceramic bowl 2-3 weeks later after it has been fired & glazed.
