Where To Find Pantone's Color For 2020 In Mt. Hood Territory

Little Crater Lake is a lesser-known treasure in Mt. Hood Territory. It's fed via an underground spring, meaning it has a steady water level year-round. It also means it has a steady temperature year-round, making it quite chilly. It's so cold in fact that people are not allowed to go for a swim, lest they end up reenacting that door scene from Titanic. However, it's a perfect spot for a unique photo op, and the nearby campground is right off the Pacific Crest Trail. 

Willamette Falls is more than just a mighty cascade. While the falls were shaped by the power of water and erosion, the feature itself shaped the cultures of the region for centuries. It was a central aspect in the life of several Native American Tribes living nearby. You can still see Tribe members harvest lamprey eel from the basalt rocks beneath the falls. Get a great view of the falls and learn more about the Tribes of the area at the nearby Museum of the Oregon Territory. 

Sip a craft beer from Stickmen Brewing overlooking scenic Oswego Lake. Afterwards, take a stroll around Millennium Plaza Park to do some shopping and view some great sculptures that are part of the Gallery Without Walls. 

You may raise an eyebrow when you first read Timberline Lodge as an option to see blue, especially since the prior suggestions were all water-based. However, make a trip up to this historic mountain lodge on what they call a bluebird day, and you'll see what we mean. The clean mountain air combined with the high elevation makes the sky a stunning blue that is definitely good for the soul.

Head on down to Molalla and feel real excitement with Skydive Oregon. That way, you can see those beautiful blue skies while you're a part of them. Okay, so maybe it's not a peaceful way to see the blue, but it sure is an awe inspiring trip that will give you quite the story to tell your friends when you get back from vacation.
