EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

Cascading Rivers Rides Estacada Area Chamber of Commerce

Address: 475 SE Main St., Estacada, 97023

Cycling Event along the Cascading Rivers Scenic Bikeway consists of three fully supported rides over two days along the Clackamas and Breitenbush Rivers. The Killer Fang ride begins at 8AM on 9/26/2020 and is a two day ride of 72 miles each day from Estacada to Detroit and back. The Raging Rapids Ride begins at 10AM on 9/27/2020 and is a day ride of 35 or 52 miles along the Clackamas whitewater area The Little Riffles Ride begins at Noon on 9/27/2020 and travels along Faraday Road free of traffic for 12 miles.

Field & Vine Dinner: Christopher Bridge Cellars Christopher Bridge Wines

Expert chefs pair locally sourced food with regional wines, highlighting the freshest ingredients in a 6-7 course family-style dinner held at featured farms and wineries in the Field & Vine Dinners series. Hidden in the back country of Oregon City, you will be charmed by Christopher Bridge Winery's rustic setting and the story of the Carlberg family and their passion for winemaking. $105/person.

National Alpaca Farm Days Throughout Clackamas County

Enjoy a fun-filled outing for the entire family. Experience alpacas up-close and feel their fleece. Tour the farm and view live demonstrations. Learn about raising and breeding alpacas as well as shop for alpaca products. Many of Clackamas County's alpaca farms and ranches including Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch will be participating in this national event. Check individual websites for hours.

Free Fiber Festival with fiber animals, workshops and loads of vendors. The celebrated fiber for OFFF 2020 will be plant based fiber. Sat 9am-5pm and Sun 9am-4pm.

Take a Halloween walk through a lighted, wooded "Fantasy Trail" decorated with spooky sights and sounds. Walk through a 40 ft. castle filled with Halloween scenes. You will also encounter a tunnel, maze, crooked house, suspension bridge and more on this themed self-guided walk. $7 adults/$6 children 12 & under, cash only. Daytime hours 12-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Open every evening of the week 7-10pm.
