EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. See below for upcoming events, or click the links in the text above for more information on some of our seasonal favorite activities.

Ski Camp - Race Training
National Alpine Ski Camp (NASC)

NASC offers 9-day camp programs, where coaches focus on building the confidence and balance that drive fundamental skill development. To complement on-snow training, athletes take part in fun, confidence-building adventure activities such as rock climbing, paddleboarding, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and field sports. These activities provide both recovery and cross-training benefits.

Stronger Skatepark summer camps are inclusive and fun! The indoor skatepark offers skateboard, scooter, and roller skate options for 6-14 year old's of ALL ability levels, from kids who have never been to a skate park to kids who know how to shred the park! Gear is provided for any kid who needs it for camp. In addition to skating, every day has ample opportunities for non-skating activities, including group games, a rock wall, and an art zone with lots of supplies to get creative with!

Head to Tumwater Vineyard to get your gardening on!!! The winery will be hosting Dennis7dees, who will be teaching tricks on creating a BEAUTIFUL container. Guests will learn how to curate beautiful plant combinations and leave with one fully planted container ready to display all season. Includes pottery, plants, soil, fertilizer, and expert instructions. Food and drinks available for purchase.

Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.
