EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

Note: We strive to keep all event listings up-to-date, but please check event status with individual event hosts before planning your trip.

ARTspace Gallery: Abandoned ARTspace Gallery

Address: 380 A Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97068
Phone: 503-675-3738

The Pacific Northwest has a unique history – from Indigenous Peoples, early frontier days and the Oregon Trail to boom and bust industries like logging and mining. As a result, our landscape is dotted with abandoned human-made places and structures that were once thriving. There are a number of gold rush ghost towns, ship wrecks off the coast (the Peter Iredale), empty farm houses and other buildings, abandoned roads and even a ghost forest (Neskowin Ghost Forest). Just in time for spooky season, these once thriving or occupied structures and locations remain with the mark of past human presence; now discarded or neglected. This exhibition will bring together images of the “abandoned” from all over the region.
