Annual tour of unique log cabins build by Henry Steiner and family between 1925 and 1953. Participant drive to several cabin locations and tour these handcrafted log structures. The fully restored Steiner Church will be on the tour this year. In this class you will be supplied with wood cut outs and ceramic tiles to pour on and take home. All materials are provided. You will learn new techniques like swipes and open cup pours. Improve on what you know and expand your skills. Wood cutout shapes will be provided to practice each technique several times along with pouring paints, cups, sticks, gloves, aprons, and all other necessary materials. Your completed art will be extremely wet and needs to be left to dry, pick up will be the following Wednesday at the gallery.
No drinks or food are included in the ticket price, but there are many options very close and within walking distance (Backstop Bar & Grill, Siren Song, Kings Farm to Table, Wayward Sandwiches). Arrive 15 minutes early to check out the gallery, hang out, and claim your seat.
