Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

Mother's Day in the Garden Rogerson Clematis Garden

Address: 125 Rosemont Rd, West Linn, 97068

Enjoy a special day in the garden with plant sales, potting demonstration, raffle prizes and docent-led tours. COVID-19 precautions for Clackamas County will be observed. Saturday 10-4, Sunday 10-2.

Inviting Vines - Celebrating 50 Years at Rogerson Clematis Garden Rogerson Clematis Garden

Address: 125 Rosemont Rd, West Linn, 97068

Inviting Vines is a chance to tour the gardens of the Lake Oswego and West Linn areas. Visit and shop at Rogerson Clematis Garden, and enjoy ongoing demonstrations of clematis growing techniques. The event will follow COVID-19 restrictions for Clackamas County. Ticket sales begin May 1, online or at Rogerson Clematis Garden.

Spring Fever Open House Cascade Nursery Trail

Three day extravaganza of garden touring, plant sales and special events, perfectly timed for peak garden photo ops! Feel the fever of plant lust and the thrill of finding those alluring beauties as you fill your wagon at each stop…pausing for munchies or libation and some sage gardening advice from your nursery hosts before heading to your next trail destination. Come out for a day in the country, meet the owners and find plants you may not see anywhere else. All Cascade Nursery Trail locations will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday so you 'll have time to get to them all! 10am - 5pm each day.

Midsummer Madness is here to remind you that there is no law against planting new plants in the summer months, in fact, nursery people who have little time during the spring and fall, often partake in this defiant act with great success (with a little watering and mulch) so fear not! There are so many things that look great this time of year, and anything goes at Midsummer Madness...so expect the unexpected. Come see what summer offers for your garden in flower and foliage. See event page for special events and talks at participating locations. 10am - 5pm each day. ​
