The Oregon Renaissance Faire is bigger and better than ever in 2023, now offering three weekends of fun! They kick off June 3-4, 10-11 and 17-18 and each weekend is themed. The first weekend is filled with "Fantasy and Fairytales", followed by "A Pirate's Plunder" and the event wraps up with a "Celtic Celebration". Please note that all tickets must be purchased online and no tickets will be available to purchase at the gate.
Classic car enthusiasts should be sure to have June 24 marked on their calendar for the Hot Rod Dreamworks car show. Gates open at 9am behind Dick's Canby Ford where you'll see everything from vintage trucks to classic hotrods and traditional American muscle cars. Best of all, all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.
Canby's annual Independence Day event is a full-day celebration featuring a street fair filled with food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts exhibits, live music and free kid's activities. There is also a parade down main street, bringing back those memories of a simpler time. The celebration starts at 7am with a pancake breakfast and ends after a fireworks show at sundown.
Music lovers will have a lot to look forward as Harefest, the "Mother Of All Tribute Festivals" presents the Northwest's best tribute bands performing over two days. Rock out to 23 bands rocking multiple stages at the fairgrounds on July 14-15. Harefest is for ages 21 and up.

Of course August holds the signature event as the annual Clackamas County Fair returns. Happening this year August 15-19, the fair promises to be a fun time for the whole family. From rides and exhibitions to the annual rodeo each night, the fair is an annual tradition for many residents and visitors.
The summer events wrap up with the Swan Island Dahlia Festival. This signature event opens up acres upon acres of fields at Swan Island Dahlias, the largest grower of these amazing flowers in the US.
