EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Fall Wine Walk Produced By: Downtown Oregon City Association

Sip and stroll Main Street! Local Wineries pair up with your favorite restaurants and retailers for a fun wine-tasting community event. Tickets include 10 tastings and a commemorative wine glass. Bottles will be available to be purchased to go.

Farmers Markets Throughout Clackamas County

Visit our list of area Farmers Markets open through out the week from April through October. The farmers markets in Mt. Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.

Pumpkin Patches & Harvest Festivals Throughout Clackamas County

Visit our list of area pumpkin patches and farms with fall harvest activities for all ages. Our handy map will make it a breeze to visit multiple pumpkin patches near you! Nothing serves as a better herald for the wonderous fall season that taking the family out to a scenic pumpkin patch. The fertile soils and temperate weather of Mt. Hood Territory creates the ideal environment for pumpkins perfect for carving, or adding to your outdoor fall décor. Of course pumpkins are just part of the experience. From hay rides to corn mazes, fresh food and animal experiences, these locations are where families go to make lifelong memories.

Stage Fright Festival Chapel Theatre

If you're into weird, creepy shows during the best month of the year, here is your chance to see a LOT of strange stuff! Stage Fright Festival is Portland's only queer horror theater festival and takes place at Milwaukie's Chapel Theater. Join for a full lineup of events and stage productions. Most performances are intended for adult audiences.
