There are EV charging stations located at the the Fred Meyer in Sandy. Chargers are located on the east side of the Fred Meyer parking lot, near the garden center section.

• There are eight Tesla superchargers and eight CCS/SAE Electrify America plugs. 
• Pricing for DC fast charging is determined by charger location, your plan and the maximum power level your vehicle can accept. Real-time pricing is available in the app or at the charger.

What To Do While Charging

• The Sandy Fred Meyer is a great charging location for visitors. Right next to the Sandy Cinema, two coffee shops and La Milpa Tortilleria, visitors can refuel themselves while their car charges. Across the street is Wippersnappers which is the premier family indoor play place in Sandy. You can also walk to the US Forest Service station to plan your trip.

All lovers of breakfast food and historical landmarks should choose to charge at the Barlow Trail Roadhouse. As the last leg of the Oregon Trail, this convenience store-turned bordello- turned restaurant has no shortage of stories and tales to learn about while visiting. And if it’s too late to indulge in breakfast, visitors say the halibut and chips is in competition with the coast.

Timberline Lodge Charging Stations Information

Timberline Lodge and Ski Area has six EV charging stations in the Main Lot in front of the Wy'East Day Lodge. These EV parking spaces may be used by all Timberline guests, including paying customers and non-paying visitors.

• 4-hour max stay
• Vehicle must attempt to move to a non-EV spot when possible or seek the help of a parking lot attendant
• 45-minute grace period after each 4-hour stay
• After 45-minute grace period expires, a $5/hr idle fee will incur

Mt. Hood Skibowl Travel Tips

When the snow begins falling on Mt. Hood, skiers and snowboarders eagerly await news of opening day at Mt. Hood Skibowl. In addition to having the most black diamond runs in the state of Oregon, Skibowl features 34 fully lit runs making it the largest night ski area in the United States. As the closest ski resort to Portland, Skibowl is also home to the Snow Tube and Adventure Park, making it a favorite among families and groups.

Mt. Hood Meadows Charging Stations Information

• Mt. Hood Meadows has three charging pedestals with two ports on each, located in the main parking lot on the Sahale Lodge side. 
• During winter operations the charging stations are open daily from 7am-10pm.
• During the offseason the charging stations are open Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm. 
• The charging stations are FLO Core+ Max Level 2 universal chargers that will work for any EV (Tesla drivers will need to utilize the adapters that came with their vehicles) and provide up to 6.6 kW of charging power.
• There is a 4-hour session maximum, with a charge of $50 per hour after the maximum.
