snow shoeing Mount Hood

When the snow comes, some people look to hunker down and snuggle in front of a warm fire. (We have places for that, by the way.) Then there are those who look at it as a chance to get out there and conquer the world. That's where Mt. Hood Outfitters comes in.

Mt. Hood Outfitters is your go-to for everything fun and exciting on and around Mt. Hood. Want to hit the trails on a snowmobile? Yeah, they have those, and they're the only ones who can offer snowmobiling tours in the Mt. Hood National Forest.

Want to explore the wilderness with some snowshoes? They can rent you the perfect pair and even guide you on an amazing trip with incredible views. Or go it alone if you're experienced and know the area, and just need to rent the specialized footwear.

Same goes for some cross country skiing. They know all the best trails for an exhilarating trip in the back country that are fun and beautiful.

If you want to calm it down and go for a romantic sleigh ride through Government Camp, they're your people too.

After your full day of tackling all the fun on the mountain, you're going to be exhausted. Check out our lodging options so you can rest and recharge and hit day two as strong as your first day. It's going to be an epic trip. Be sure to bring the camera and share your photos using our #omht hashtag, so we can follow along on your journey.
