On your second day, head east on Highway 26 toward Mt. Hood. The scenic 1.5-hour drive from the Portland metro area takes you through increasingly dramatic landscapes until you arrive at Government Camp, where Mt. Hood Skibowl transforms into an action-packed adventure park each summer.

Mt. Hood Skibowl may be best known as a winter ski resort, but when the snow melts and wildflowers begin to bloom, this ski resort comes alive with an entirely different kind of thrill. The Mt.
