Milwaukie's downtown is experiencing a powerful revitalization, directly contributing to a more vibrant and inclusive city for all. As we look forward to the next Milwaukie Pride event, it's clear that the spirit of acceptance and community is flourishing, particularly within the growing network of local businesses breathing new life into cherished landmarks. Pride celebrates our LGBTQIA+ community, but it also champions the universal values of acceptance, love and the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe and celebrated.
Join a community-led festive gathering to celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. This event will feature community groups, crafts, fun activities and live entertainment. People of all ages are welcome!

At the heart of Milwaukie's revitalized downtown stands a historic landmark: The former Milwaukie's City Hall and fire station has undergone a careful restoration, preserving its character while reimagining its interior to create modern, inviting spaces that honor its past. The space is now home to two exciting new businesses: Keeper Coffee Co. and pFriem Family Brewers (the acclaimed Hood River brewery's second tasting room offering award-winning Belgian- and German-inspired beers, cocktails and a curated food menu).
Woman-owned café Keeper Coffee Co. first established itself in Portland and has quickly become a cherished spot in Milwaukie. Filling the air with the aroma of meticulously crafted espresso drinks and house-made pastries (including vegan and gluten-free options!), Keeper Coffee is more than just a coffee shop. It is deeply committed to community and is proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly, actively valuing and striving to support queer, trans, BIPOC and houseless communities. Last year, Keeper Coffee truly showed their Pride spirit and put their values into action by offering the Marsha P Palmer drink for the entire month of June — a delicious blend of hibiscus tea, housemade lemonade, butterfly pea flower and lavender with part of the profits donated to the Q Center. Keep an eye out for a special Pride drink on the menu this year!
