Cheers To Outdoor Dining In Sandy

Most visitors to Sandy, Oregon are heading up Mt. Hood for an adventure. But where should you refuel on your way back to the city afterward? Sandy is the perfect location to stop and recap your day with a craft beer and some incredible food. And even better, the town is filled with plenty of outdoor covered dining patios which makes it the perfect stop no matter the season (yes this is the northwest so it does rain here). Here are nine great locations with covered patios in Sandy.

Le Happy Creperie and Bar

Enjoy a little bit of France in the heart of downtown Sandy. Le Happy Creperie offers an eclectic mix of breakfasts and lunches, but the highlight is their selection of both savory and sweet crepes. Live music on weekends and bonus, they feature a kids meal for those smaller appetites!

Sandlandia World Cuisine Food Cart Pod

Located right off of Highway 26 as it splits in the middle of town, Sandlandia World Cuisine hosts 10 carts perfect to fuel your Mt. Hood adventure. Grab a waffle taco at the Breakfast In The Hood cart, try a cheesesteak at Mt. Hood Cheesesteaks or fillup at Gyro Time, there's lots more world cuisine to discover at this colorful cart pod.

Sandy Family Restaurant & Ria's Bar

One of Sandy’s newest family friendly restaurants, and the only restaurant in town to offer breakfast all day. Want pancakes for dinner? Sandy Family Restaurant has you covered! Other meals include entrees such as country fried steak, roast turkey, chicken strips, pot roast and chicken fettuccine as well as seafood, burgers and sandwiches.

Boring Brewing

Boring Brewing is a family-friendly nano brewery focused on small batch handcrafted beer. The passion for their craft is evident in each unique recipe and they are always experimenting to discover the next delicious pint.

Wippersnappers

The premier indoor kids play place on Mt. Hood, Wippersnappers features a three level, state of the art play structure that has a quadruple wave slide, tunnel slides, monkey rings, web crawls, bridges and much more! Menu includes a full cafe with pizza, wraps, breakfast, snacks and beverages for the adults.

Sandbar BBQ

Opened in May 2023, Sandbar BBQ is a must stop for barbecue lovers! Try full plates for their house smoked tri-tip, smoked chicken or a half rack of ribs with chipotle cherry bbq sauce. And don’t forget to try the jalapeno cornbread!

No Place Saloon

No Place Saloon is a sports and entertainment bar featuring ice cold beer, cocktails, fresh burgers, sandwiches, pizza and snacks. Their back patio also features an outdoor bar. Enjoy karaoke on the weekends and breakfast on Sunday from 9am-12pm.

La Bamba

La Bamba Mexican restaurant offers the best dishes of the regional gastronomy of Oaxaca, Puebla, Veracruz and Yucatan, as well as popular fajitas, versatile seafood and a great barbecue selection.

Smoky Hearth

Smoky Hearth is a family friendly restaurant and bar is highlighted by their wood fire pizza, smoked brisket, pastas, fresh salads and hamburgers. Features live music on the weekends.
