A World In Bloom At Rogerson Clematis Garden

Imagine a beautiful garden, filled with numerous types of blooming clematis. Or, better yet, just go to the Rogerson Clematis Garden in West Linn, and experience it for yourself for free.

Located at Luscher Farm, this stunning collection of clematis is the result of one man's affinity for this beautiful if not varied type of flower: Brewster Rogerson. There are more than 900 varieties of clematis at the garden. From large, bushy shrubs bursting with color, to climbing vines with flowers producing a fragrance not unlike vanilla and spice, the garden is a lasting legacy left by Rogerson that's become a gathering point for flower lovers and people who just love to spend their time in a peaceful garden.

Bumblebee on Clematis Flower

Different types of clematis bloom at different times of year, meaning no matter when you visit, you'll see something special. Their website updates regularly with what's blooming at that moment, so you can plan your trips to see as many different flowers as you can throughout the year. Since summer has just begun there's a huge selection to choose from, so if you are a particular fan of clematis, you may want to make your way down as soon as possible.

Rogerson Clematis Garden is open to visitors 7 days a week from 8am to dusk. You can visit for free at anytime during those hours, but for a more personalized visit, bring a group of eight friends and schedule a docent-led tour. Tours grant the additional chance to purchase flowers from the greenhouse.
