EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Tulip Fest is here March 20st through April 26th! The Iverson family looks forward to welcoming you to the 42nd annual Tulip Festival to experience the beauty and create new memories. There are millions of beautiful tulips for guests to enjoy on the family farm. Wooden Shoe offers more than just tulips with estate grown wine, a gift shop, fresh flowers, food, vendors, and kid's activities during the festival. **Colorblind visitors can check out color correcting sunglasses courtesy of Mt. Hood Territory to enjoy while viewing the flowers**

Farmers Markets
Throughout Clackamas County

Visit our list of area Farmers Markets open through out the week from April through October. The farmers markets in Mt. Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.

Lake Area Artists 2026 Art Show & Sale

30 local artists come together annually to exhibit and sell their art work. Paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, encaustic wax, pastel and colored pencil, in a variety of styles of realism to abstraction. This group show and sale is a very popular community event. 42 paintings sell for $65 each and 100% proceeds will be given as a scholarship to two exceptional art students from the Lake Oswego High Schools. ​Artist Receptions at 4:30pm on both Friday and Saturday evenings will include wine, music, food, and lively conversations with the artists. Free admission, free parking & wheelchair accessible.

Come view the paintings of artist and professor of Asian North American literature, Marie Lo. Her oil paintings invite viewers to think about how we represent the world around us, how we see ourselves, and how we preserve the stories that shape our identities. The exhibition will be on view at the Lake Oswego Library's Stairwell Gallery throughout April during regular library hours.

Milwaukie Lights Walk is an annual community event that transforms our downtown streets into an immersive winter lights art walk. This beloved tradition brings together artists, businesses, and the community to create a vibrant, walkable experience full of imagination, wonder, and creativity. 2026 installations include a light display on the large Redwood in Milwaukie Bay Park, an interactive music-light display in the windowfront at BSide Records and an interactive illumidated art peices installed at That One Vintage amoung other displays.

Neil Simon's Chapter Two

Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical play explores the story of George Schneider, a writer navigating his recent widowhood, and Jennie Malone, a soap opera actress dealing with her recent split from a football player. Both characters face uncertainty about new relationships.
