CONTRACTING & EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Illustrated Things To Do Map - Request for Proposals (RFP)

Proposals to be submitted by email to ithaca@mthoodterritory.com no later than 5pm Wednesday, 4/24.

Submitted Questions:

  • Q: May I see the example of the past Things To Do Map Brochure?
    • A: The 2020 version of the brochure can be found here.
  • Q: Are there 100 illustrations, or just 100 listings?
    • A: It is 100 listings (ideally with a photo that we would provide), not 100 illustrations. We’re hoping for an engaging map that represents Clackamas County to scale and with major roads, rivers and cities called out.  We don’t have a specific request for the number of illustrations for the map, but the idea is that they would represent the different experiences/attractions/landmarks in different areas of the county, and be able to include/exclude them from the map depending on specific projects we might use the map for outside of the brochure.
  • Q: Can I submit a joint proposal with another illustrator/designer?
    • A: Yes
  • Q: What will the schedule be like for this work?
    • A: Our team is fully remote, so we wouldn't have any in-person meetings. We'd need a few video calls to happen during our work hours (Monday - Thurs, 7am-6pm) including one for kick-off and each of three edit rounds, so an estimated total of 4 meetings. The majority of work can happen on your own time.
