Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Birdge City Improv: The Bureau of Madness

The Bureau of Madness is an organization that has been pursuing tales of the weird, strange, and otherworldly. For four weeks only they will present case files of eldritch anomalies that have driven people to madness. Expect equal parts horror and comedy at this improvised tale of cosmic and eldritch terror reaching absurdity serving up chills and laughs. YOU help us select the case file each week: Will it be a tale of an expedition gone wrong, a small town subsumed by a cult worshiping a strange object, or perhaps space detritus that alters reality? Every show promises a dive into madness, weird fiction, and hilarity. Directed by Luke Zwanziger CAST: Kari Smit, Lee Collet, Tony Coray, Anne Jones, Caitlin Thompson, David Ochart Assume PG13 content.

Bridge City Improv: Hot Goss & Friends

Hot Goss: Rebecca Feldman, Jason Hays, and Jessica Zodrow have been performing together for years. Their love of pop culture has manifested in their original format -- where they recreate a real movie they've never seen before. They take what they know (or don't) about a movie suggested by the audience, fold in classic story tropes, joyous relationships, and filmmaking devices to bring their director's cut to life. Each performance will feature an opening group from the reputable Portland improv scene.

The Davis Graveyard is a beloved Halloween destination for locals and visitors alike. The display typically runs from early October through Halloween night and includes a variety of spooky scenes and themes. The Davis Crew continues to work hard to create new and exciting displays each year and to maintain the tradition of community involvement and celebration.

Farmers Markets
Throughout Clackamas County

Visit our list of area Farmers Markets open through out the week from April through October. The farmers markets in Mt. Hood Territory are packed with delicious local offerings, eye catching arts and foot-stomping live music. Each community's market is as unique as the towns themselves, and all showcase the impressive bounty available in Oregon. Saunter past booths highlighting local produce, prepared foods, specialty drinks and local honey. Roam aisles of brightly colored flowers, handmade products and arts and crafts. Arrive on bike, foot or by car, and bring your appetite and basket ready to fill up on fresh, local veggies and fragrant fruits.

Get into the Halloween spirit with an afternoon of colorful, creepy, and creative fused glass! Choose your favorite way to celebrate the season and create something frightfully fun to take home. Design your projects with pumpkins, ghosts, black cats, bats, candy corn, spooky faces, haunted houses, or whatever Halloween inspiration strikes! Choose from: 6 pieces of fused glass jewelry – $55 3 fused glass sun-catchers – $55 Spooky Glass Lantern – $80 Create four coordinating fused glass panels that will be assembled into a lantern, perfect for adding a little Halloween glow to your home. No glass experience is needed. You'll learn the basics of working with fused glass and have plenty of colorful glass and Halloween inspiration to choose from. After class, your creations will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup at a later date. Ages 6+ Children under 10 must attend with a participating adult.

The fall months are special in Mt. Hood Territory as our farms celebrate rich traditions such as corn mazes, hayrides and pumpkin patches. This year the season is extra special with the NEW Mt. Hood Territory Harvest Trail passport! Throughout the month of October pick up a FREE passport stamp card at five participating farms: Dolan Creek Farm, Bushue’s Family Farm, Yesteryear Farms, Fiala Farms and Liepold Farms.
