Midweek Camping In Mt. Hood Territory

Camping in Mt. Hood Territory is a beloved experience. We have such enviable land on which to pitch your tent or park your RV, helping to get you out of the house and closer to adventure or tranquility. The summer sun is beaming down and luring everyone outside. It's the perfect time to be in The Territory while connecting with family and friends over a smore (or two or three). With all of that awesomeness comes popularity though... meaning, camping spots fill up fast! Weekend campsites are nearly impossible to get at this point, but luckily not all hope is lost. If you look for spots during the week, you have a much better chance of experiencing all the greatness this season has to offer.

We have over 50 campgrounds in The Territory, and plenty of them still have midweek availability. Try Mt. Hood Village RV Resort and Campground, which puts you near lots of attractions, such as Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl or Mt. Hood Oregon Resort's 27-hole golf course. Or Promontory Park Campground which boasts loads of activities, including pontoon boat rentals right on site!

Whether you are looking for the best camping near Mt. Hood, seeking stellar views - like at Trillium Lake or Timothy Lake campgrounds - or just want a quick getaway nearby, check out our list of options on the map below to determine what is right for you. You can click on the icon or listing and check the dates that will work for you this season. Think midweek! A little planning will go a long ways in helping you ensure a fun getaway.
