Rodeos to Petting Zoos | Wild & Farm Animals | Mt Hood Territory
Alpacas at sunrise

Animals

Mt. Hood Territory is home to a veritable zoo of animals including alpacas, llamas, elk and miniature donkeys as well as more traditional farm animals. Get up close and personal with these animals at petting farms or with Alpaca Yoga. Find local animal products including eggs, meat, and cozy fiber goods at local farm loops and farmers' markets

From dressage to barrel racing, The Territory is home to many equine activities. You can visit one of the many horse farms to learn more about how these animals are raised and trained in Oregon Horse Country. One of the best times to visit for horse related events and demonstrations is during the Clackamas County Fair. Each summer the Canby Rodeo is held on the fairgrounds for all to enjoy.
