Shop local from the comfort of home. It's a great time to discover foods, wines, treasures and treats while you think about future travel. Many of our local businesses have online stores, so you can shop your favorites for you, your family, or friends even if you can't make it to their doors. But if you don't have time to wait for shipping, our communities have in-person shopping options, too, so you'll definitely be covered. We've sorted shopping ideas in the following order:

Mt. Hood Territory is lucky to have some incredibly talented people behind our food scene. Thanks to the internet, you can still have access to all those special items delivered to your home, and your table.

1. Trail Distilling

Trail Distilling in Oregon City, a certified farm distillery, uses naturally harvested grains from their family farm, as well as clear Cascadian glacial water. And thanks to the new business, @YourDoor, fans in the Portland Metro area can order their spirits for next day delivery! They also offer curbside pickup Wed-Sun from 2-6pm.

2. 503 Distilling

503 Distilling makes inventive canned cocktails out of their distillery in Oregon City. Along with traditional spirits, they also offer cocktails on tap you can only get at their lounge connected to the distillery. Try The Wicked Mule, The Blood Hound, La Vida Mocha and Five-O-Tea.

3. Hot Diggity Dog Treats

At Hot Diggity Dog Treats based in West Linn, their goal is to provide fresh, quality dog treats that you can be confident are safe for your furry family members. 4. Bob's Red Mill

Bob has been making whole grain, healthy foods long before it was the cool thing to do. As such, he and his team at Bob's Red Mill have pretty much perfected it. 6. The Kitchen at Middleground Farms

The amazing recipes and effervescent personality of Chef Jessica Hansen have made the Kitchen at Middleground Farms an immensely popular spot for food lovers and home chefs alike. While she's had to suspend her cooking classes for now, you can still get a little piece of the farm sent to your home with gift certificates and fun Kitchen at Middleground Farms merch. 

7. Tony's Smokehouse

The wines that made our region famous are just a click away. Many of our wineries have online orders, and they'll ship your purchases right to you, just in time for virtual happy hour. And if you're in the area, many offer free delivery or curbside pickup.

2. King's Raven

3. Forest Edge Vineyard

4. Pete's Mountain Vineyard

11. Beckham Estate Vineyard

This is where art and the art of winemaking intersect. Originally intended as an art studio, the fertile grounds of Beckham Estate Vineyard called to Andrew and Annedria, so they started planting vines, and then creating wine. The truly special part of this wonderful story is that Andrew handmakes amphorae vessels, a lost art today. You can order some of these unique amphora wines from their online store. 12. St. Josef's Winery

Self care is critical, especially now. And although Milwaukie Mercantile's storefront is now closed, you can still shop their handmade Molly Muriel products and find what you need to make your home the positive, healthy place you want it to be. 

4. Wooden Shoe Farm

Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm has a huge online store with a tremendous selection of bulbs and other flowers you can grown in your own garden. They even have a section of accessories and Tulip Festival souvenirs to keep the magic of the festival alive. 

5. Creators and Curators Market

Creators and Curators Market, based out of Milwaukie Floral, is filled with vintage, artisan, garden gifts and, of course, flowers. They make sure to offer curated pieces for special holidays and their selection is ever-changing.

6. Wade Creek Vintage Marketplace

Wade Creek Vintage Marketplace in Estacada has over 25 vendors filling several buildings to the brim with unique finds and friendly chickens on the grounds. Visit them on Instagram @wadecreekvintagemarketplace to see some of their vintage pieces.

7. The Rustic Shed

At The Rustic Shed you will find rustic farmhouse style decor for your home. Some will be locally handmade, some will be picked right out of an old barn or grandma’s attic, and some will be newer items that are all perfect for your modern farmhouse. Their shop also holds DIY workshops where you can learn to make your own farmhouse decor! In these workshops you create the project from start to finish so they are very hands on.

8. Swan Island Dahlias

Swan Island Dahlias is one of the reasons that Canby is referred to as The Garden Spot. Offering countless types of dahlias for sale, this farm breeds and names new types of dahlias each year. Main Street Communities:

Communities throughout Mt. Hood Territory are excited to ensure you have a safe and fun shopping experience. Your generous act of purchasing locally-made treasures found up and down their Main Streets could literally help save a business and its staff. While each business may have additional COVID-19 safety measures, expect reduced capacity and make sure to follow these COVID safety rules for traveling.

1. Canby

Visit Canby for unique downtown shops. Think beautifully vintage typewriters from Red Door Antique & Resale and handmade ornaments at Dahlia Home & Garden. Plus, Bricks & Minifigs always has a gazillion Legos to build your ultimate other world. 

2. Molalla

For over 100 years, the City of Molalla has prided itself on its rural roots (especially its annual Molalla Buckeroo), reinventing itself a few times in the process.  It has gone from the world’s biggest source of teasel to a successful logging town, and along the way, farms and ranches have succeeded in this small city in the fertile Willamette Valley. And so have boutique shops, diverse and deep in their collections, you’ll need to see them all. Cowgirl Trading Co. offers cowgirl centric clothing (of course!) and Roots and Roads lives in an old blacksmithing shop.

Find locally crafted accessories to go with new threads at The Main Shop Molalla, even "tattoo bracelets" and leather earrings. The shop showcases the work of artists, crafters and collectors with a focus on providing local creators an affordable means of showcasing and selling their works. Welcome to Molalla.  

3. Historic Willamette

Historic Willamette, West Linn’s Main Street, recently underwent an extensive streetscape renovation and is ready for you to see the results as you browse a variety of shops and restaurants. Historic Willamette has the shirt you need to wear in front of anyone who doesn’t know how to pronounce “Willamette,” and they also offer a guide to featured businesses to help you feel well and relaxed.

4. Milwaukie

Nostalgia is a word that often comes to mind when looking through Milwaukie’s Main Street shops. At Main Street Collectors Mall and Soda Fountain, there are endless rows of antique toys and a vintage milkshake counter in the back. Plus, Enchante, just across the street, smells and looks like a trip to an enchanted cousin of the North Pole. Milwaukie Mercantile has handmade laundry detergents and home remedies one can imagine finding from decades past, but made with modern wisdom and beautiful packaging! Roger and Ives has carefully curated vintage pieces and all of your favorite classic comics are waiting at Things From Another World.

5. Lake Oswego

Downtown Lake Oswego offers upscale boutique shopping. In its Lake View Village across from Oswego Lake, find highly-regarded local shops, such as Mapel Boutique with its online personal shopping service and Grapevine, which is owned by a family deeply rooted in Lake Oswego. Glassybaby, where you can purchase handmade glassware, exists to give. For every glassybaby sold, $3 are donated to its foundation to provide hope and healing to people, animals and the planet. The foundation has donated over $10.8M to organizations in need. And no shopping excursion is complete without visiting The Grove. It’s filled with amazingly talented, creative and lovely local makers’ creations. 

6. Sandy to Government Camp

If you’re enjoying the snowy nature on Mt. Hood this season, a stop in Government Camp is a must. Valian’s Ski Shop has all of the things you might need to enjoy the great outdoors to the fullest. Plus, Govy General, an old-fashioned general store, has a great variety of huckleberry (yum!) gifts from Huckleberry People.

Either on your way up the mountain or back down, turn in to Tollgate Inn in Sandy and visit the bakery and gift shop, where you’ll find shelves bursting at the seams with fun, even a large selection of nostalgia candy. And Joe’s Donuts is a must as a treat to yourself.

7. Estacada

Join Estacada and “shop small,” explore and discover. Nestled alongside the Clackamas River, Estacada is known for outdoor pursuits and pristine beauty. The area offers an eclectic mix of dining, shops, tasting rooms, parks and riverside trails throughout town. Bring the family (Fido too) and take the mural art walk, grab a food cart bite or restaurant special, find unique items at shops and farms, and wet your whistle at one of their brewery and cider tasting rooms. 8. Oregon City

Downtown Oregon City has no shortage of quirky and unique shops and antique wonders (yep, legit wonders). A record shop. Check. A Halloween heirloom shop. Check, check. Big outdoor fire pits in front of The Verdict. Checkity check. While strolling, keep an eye out for outdoor art including street lamp sculptures and murals.
