Blue Sky Rafting, Clackamas River Whitewater

WATER PLAY

Explore the closest whitewater rafting and kayaking to Portland, Oregon, on Mt. Hood Territory’s seven rivers and more than 40 lakes. Whether motorized or human powered, water play can happen fast on Class III and IV rapids or slowly as you relax on a pontoon boat rental from Get&Go at Promontory Marina.

Eat, shop and paddle, all within a half mile walk when you visit our urban Main Streets, such as downtown Milwaukie, Oregon City, West Linn and Lake Oswego. The 187 mile Willamette Water Trail offers day and multiday adventures from these (and other) towns.

Follow the Sandy River Water Trail  through epic to modest rapids or join a whitewater rafting trip on the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River. Fish from a kayak or boat at the many lakes in The Territory. In the summer, take a plunge in the clear and refreshing waters in the great outdoors or at The Territory’s parks and aquatic centers.

Learn how to kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard (SUP). A number of guides and instructors deliver unforgettable water adventures. Rent boats, boards and other gear for DIY waterplay. There's even a shuttle service and tube rental options for floating the Lower Clackamas River to help you reduce your impact on the environment at this popular stretch of water.
