Art Gallery

Art is an important part of the Oregon story — from museums and galleries to expansive murals celebrating the nature and history of this great state. Art and inspiration can be found everywhere in Mt. Hood Territory. Not only do we host stunning curated indoor galleries, but Lake Oswego is home to the “Gallery Without Walls,” a self-guided walking tour of the town featuring large-scale rotating art pieces. We dare you not to get inspired here.

Art galleries throughout The Territory showcase some of Oregon’s best local artists and visiting talent. Stop by the Gallery at Alder Creek in Sandy, Oregon to admire spectacular chainsaw art and furniture. Take in an assortment of creative works at The Spiral Gallery in Estacada. This gallery and artists’ cooperative showcases textiles and pottery to photography and paintings. Or, meander through one of the Three Rivers Artist Guild galleries in Oregon City.

For a more immersive art experience, check out the Cascadia Center for Arts and Crafts on Mt. Hood where they regularly hold artists demonstrations and classes.

How about combining your love of the theatre and the arts? The Lakewood Center for the Arts celebrates theatre through an annual season of plays, has a rotating art gallery space, and offers art, acting, and music classes to locals and visitors alike.
