EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

As the deadline looms, unexamined issues of the girl's adoption from Russia, the rupture of her parent’s divorce, and the fear of leaving home break through the surface as the mother cajoles, deflects, and maneuvers around her own feelings of sadness and loss. Unfolding in real time, Memory House is about a young and an older woman who are forced to grapple with the past as they face an uncertain future.
