EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family-fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming colors at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo.

Living history presenter Marge Harding will share secrets of Victorian undergarments. Using original undergarment artifacts, the story will be told and secrets "exposed" about the necessity and significance of the layers of clothing worn by the ladies of the 1800s - even on the Oregon Trail. Hope on the Slopes - Ski & Ride for a Cure Mt Hood Skibowl

Ski & Ride for the Cure fundraiser event is back once again at Mt Hood Skibowl to make a stand against cancer. Participants test their endurance skiing and riding for 24 hours while competing for individual and team prizes. That’s right… it goes all night long! Not only will you make a difference participating in the event, you will experience riding after the mountain closes and watching the sunset and sunrise on beautiful Mt. Hood.

Ski the Glade 2020 Museum Fundraiser Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum

Ski the Glade takes you back to the days when you could ski or snowboard from Timberline to Government Camp along the groomed Glade Trail. The 3.5-mile Glade Trail opens for this one-day special event. Participants receive shuttle transportation to the top of the run at Timberline for a full day of fun, a lunch at the Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum, and apres-ski reception and beverages. Tickets are $125 for museum members, $150 for non-members with a 1 year membership included. Space is limited.
