St. Josef’s Day Festival Celebrates Red Lips & Tulips

I’m pretty sure I speak for every Oregonian when I say it’s time for spring to bring a little joy and sun. Luckily, St. Josef’s Winery is ushering in the growing season with their annual St. Josef’s Day Festival in coordination with the tulips blooming at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm just down the road.

Mt. Hood Territory’s most tenured winery is celebrating its 39th anniversary with the St. Josef’s Day Festival. The event will feature jazz music by the Portland Gypsy Jazz Project as well as numerous food options highlighting their home-made Hungarian Goulash and of course some amazing new wine releases. Among those estate-grown new releases include the Lilli Sparkling wine and Kitara Reserve Syrah. You can also join the winemakers for several tours throughout the day or simply relax with a glass of your favorite varietal, watching the buds bloom in the vineyard while listening to jazz.

The St. Josef’s Day Festival is open from 12-6 pm Saturday and Sunday, April 1 & 2. Music will be live from 1-5 pm. The festival is for anyone 21 and older and costs just $10 which includes admission, a souvenir glass, a tasting and tour.
