Tulip Or Not Tulip, That Is The Question

2018 Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival Dates: March 23 - April 29

If tulip is the question, then the annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest in Woodburn, Oregon is the answer. Gather your friends and family and grab your camera for this fun-filled, not-to-be-missed spring tradition.

For more than 30 years family-owned Wooden Shoe Farm has been open to the public. Over time the festival and fields have grown exponentially. Every spring you can stroll through 40 acres of breathtaking fields of tulips, take in expansive views of nearby vineyards and Mt. Hood, and have bushels of fun for the entire family (dogs on leashes included!)

Start your morning with a birds eye view of the tulips when you lift off into the sky in a hot air balloon. Speaking of birds, bring your binoculars for exceptional bird watching. While you are looking for birds, get up close and personal with cleverly named tulips like the Black Parrot, Hot Pants, or Queen of the Night. Whether you come with your family, a peaceful day for yourself, or a romantic getaway with some local wine, you will not be disappointed.

Don't miss out on the Wooden Shoe Vineyards tasting room while there, open Friday thru Sunday, 11am - 5pm. Sip on unique varietals like spicy, full-bodied Marechal Foch or citrusy Sparkling Albarino.
