Jump Start Your Tap Trail Pass At The Oregon Trail Brewfest

Update: The 2019 Oregon Trail Brewfest has ended, but you can still use your Tap Trail for deals at craft breweries throughout Mt. Hood Territory! Learn more here

The Mt. Hood Territory Tap Trail is a free mobile passport that gives users discounts at tasting rooms throughout the area. And with 16 participating breweries, cideries and distilleries, it can be difficult to know where to begin! To get you started on your tasting journey, we’re offering Tap Trail users two extra tasting tickets with regular admission at the Oregon Trail Brewfest on Saturday, July 20 at the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Oregon City.

Sample beers from six local Tap Trail breweries that will be in attendance, as well as breweries from other states along the Oregon Trail including Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon. With Oregon City being the official end of the Oregon Trail, there’s no better place for these makers to get together and celebrate pioneer history as well as modern beer culture. The outdoor festival will include food carts, live music and lawn games for all ages, so you and your friends and family can make a day of it.

Sign up for the Tap Trail passport before you head to the Oregon Trail Brewfest to get a jump start on your passport. There are 16 regular participating locations on the trail, and users can collect 10 redemptions to earn a stainless steel pint glass, great for camping or outdoor beer festivals. Not only will the Oregon Trail Brewfest give Tap Trail users the opportunity to sample beers from the six Tap Trail breweries in attendance (so you can plan your next stop on the Tap Trail), but attendance also counts toward your 10 redemptions to earn your pint glass. So for existing Tap Trail users who are close to collecting enough redemptions, this is a great opportunity to fill your passport and collect your pint glass at the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Hint: you’ll already be there!

A tasting package for the 4th annual Oregon Trail Brewfest costs $25 and comes with a commemorative glass and 12 tasting tickets. You can purchase your tasting package in advance at www.oregontrailbrewfestival.com, or at the door. Once you have your tasting package purchased, just show your Tap Trail passport at the door to receive your two additional tasting tickets! Cheers!
