For #NationalComplimentDay we wanted to share some of our most complimented photos from our Instagram channel @mthoodterritory with you. We also want to compliment all the amazing photographers who have gone out and captured Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory in it's best light and used our hashtag #omht when posting their great work. And of course, to our dedicated followers on all our channels, we compliment you on your great engagement and your awesomely good taste for appreciating the sights in Mt. Hood Territory. Here's just a few of our highest complimented photos from our daily posts:
1. Devil's Peak Fire Lookout - @davynowen
The alpenglow was majestic over Mt. Hood from the Devil's Peak Fire Lookout in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory. Instagrammer @davynowen captured this stunner and we featured it in September of 2016.
2. Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm - @vldntaylor
The sunrise painted the sky pink for only a few moments but Instagrammer @vldntaylor captured it perfectly to include the pink and white tulips which compliment it oh, so, well. Taken from Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in April of 2017.
3. Boring, Oregon viewpoint - @mthoodterritory
Our resident social media guru lives on the edge of Mt. Hood Territory near Boring, Oregon and he was able to get this shot of the sunrise before heading into work in November of 2017.
4. Sandy, Oregon viewpoint - @jakeegbert
Instagrammer @jakeegbert takes some truly spectacular photos and we love getting to feature the greatness. This shot of the Harvest Moon in Sandy, Oregon was taken in October of 2017.
5. Trillium Lake - @frankcolosiphotography
Trillium Lake is one of the most photographed locations in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory because it's truly inspiring. This photo taken by Instagrammer @frankcolosiphotography in September of 2016 is unique because he used a long exposure to showcase these wonderfully saturated colors (and awesome reflection).
6. Jonsrud Viewpoint - @dobrean.a
This dreamy shot was taken by Instagrammer @dobrean.a at Jonsrud Viewpoint in Sandy, Oregon. Some of the prettiest sights in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory are our sunrises and with this shot I feel almost like I was there on that glorious morning in January of 2018.
7. Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm Eclipse Festival - @mthoodterritory
In August of 2017, the line of totality of the Solar Eclipse lay across Oregon and several communities within Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory. Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm hosted an incredible festival and our social media manager attended so that he could capture this once in a lifetime shot. Truly epic shot and an unforgettable experience.
We hope you feel inspired to visit Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory! Share your experiences on social and use the #omht so we can follow along and maybe even feature your photo.
