Mt. Hood is already known around the world as a top-level snow sports destination. Its reputation as a go-to spot for mountain biking has also been growing in recent years, making it a year-round destination. With the opening of Timberline Lodge's new mountain bike park, that status will only grow.
Experienced riders are already familiar with the 17 miles of singletrack trail at BLM's Sandy Ridge, not to mention Mt. Hood Skibowl's lift assisted access to all sorts of trail features at their Freeride Park. And now Timberline Lodge has the Timberline Bike Park which will typically be open during the summer 7 days a week through Labor Day weekend.

They offer an even mix of difficulty, with two trails each measured at beginner, intermediate and advanced. The best part is you can bring the whole family, because they have classes for beginners and kids available to get the younger members of your squad interested in the sport. You don't even have to bring your own bike, as they have various options for rent.
