Kick Your Feet Up (Day Trip/Overnight)

Press pause. We challenge you to relax in The Territory. In two days, youll just be getting started. Stay awhile - at least a week - and restore yourself.

Day 1

Stock up. Get ready to go no where for days. Visit any of a number of farmers markets throughout The Territory for veggies, meats, flowers and fruit. Soak up the European atmosphere at Villa Catalana Cellars. Plan ahead for at-home (away from home) relaxation with an online order and local pickup from Molly Muriel's natural bath and body products made in Milwaukie.

Quiet your mind. Park yourself with a book or journal at downtown Gladstones Happyrock Coffee Co with small-batch artisan coffee and house-made syrups. Enjoy the lakeside location of St. Honore Boulangerie in art-full downtown Lake Oswego.

Relax your body. Stretch and sit at Thrive Yoga and Wellness or Sachi Wellness Center. Melt your cares away with a massage at The Spa at Mt. Hood Oregon Resort.

Retreat with friends or family to a vacation rental or resort hideaway along the river or sheltered in trees.

Day 2

Wear jammies all day. Nourish your body and soul with your farmers market finds. Break out the games and cards and engage in some good-natured competition Parcheesi, Scrabble, Apples to Apples, Hearts. Get your whole body into it with hide-n-seek or charades.

Enjoy the view. Capture alpine scenery with your camera and paint the rushing rivers in watercolor. Tune in to forest sounds from your hot tub (many vacation rental and resort room have them). End the day with smores toasted on an open fire.
