Fox 12 visits Red Pig Garden Tools |
We recently did a live video at Boring, OR-based Red Pig Garden Tools. The experience was so much fun that we thought even more people needed to see it. So we told Joe V. from Fox 12 Oregon about this unique shop. He agreed that the story sounded like fun and made the trip from Portland out to Boring to check it out for himself, and he too had a blast.
Bob Denman makes each of the tools he sells by hand, forging them out of steel. It's a lot of hard work, but the pieces are practically bullet-proof as he says, each one covered by a warranty that lasts until the end of either the user's life or Bob's; whichever happens first. He has an incredible selection of tools, each with a specialized purpose. They say use the right tool for the right job, and that specialization makes various tasks easier. And in the off chance you need something he doesn't have, tell him and he'll make it.
