The Fall months in Mt. Hood Territory are ideal for fishing with plentiful bites and a relaxing time.

I encourage you to take every opportunity you can this Fall to get out on the water and enjoy time together or hone your fishing skills with the help of an expert guide. Almost every freshwater species is ripe for the catching here, plus various salmon and steelhead. You can use our Fish Finder to see exactly what can be caught in what area, which makes it pretty fool proof. 

The North Fork Reservoir along the Clackamas River is known for its schools of rainbow trout and ease of fishing near the town of Estacada. An ideal spot to take the kiddos to hone their skills is the Canby Community Park as it's designed for those in the learning phase of fishing. Get your licenses up to date and check your fishing gear, then get out here already!
