How To Celebrate Easter During Covid-19

Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm Easter egg hunt

Small businesses around Mt. Hood Territory are planning with the Big Bunny how they can best celebrate Easter with you this year. They've come up with some fun and yummy ideas, so let's hop to it!

Easter Bunny Encounters

Visit Clackamas Town Center for Your Buddy and the Bunny. Round up your fluffy friends for a contactless Easter eggs-perience. All cats and dogs are welcome to strike a pose during their Easter pet photo night on Mon, 3/29 from 5pm to close. Reservations are required, so reserve your spot for Easter Bunny pet pictures today! Face coverings are required based on current state regulations. Visit their Safety Measures page to view how they're helping you feel comfortable.

Easter Baskets

Kyra's Bake Shop: Pre-order the Dairy Free Easter Basket by 12pm on Monday, 3/29 at Kyra's Bake Shop. Vegan hand pies are a hot item and only available via pre-order in their Easter basket for now. For only $40, you get two brownies, also only available in the Easter basket, one lemon and marionberry vegan hand pie, three Easter egg sugar cookies, one Easter vanilla doughnut and one apple cobbler crumb donut.

Park and Lu: Adults like Easter baskets, too. That's why Park and Lu Boutique in Canby is offered both pre-assembled Easter baskets and customized ones filled with beautiful notebooks, wine tumblers, lotions, potions, soaps and everything else you can use for some R&R.

Easter Brunch

Tumwater Vineyard: Join Tumwater Vineyard in West Linn on Easter, 4/4, for a festive brunch from 10-11:30am. Expect a variety of gourmet dishes. Tickets are $65 ($40 for kids 10 or younger) and are available on their website's events page.

Stone Cliff Inn: This classic Pacific Northwest building with an expansive patio overlooking the Clackamas River is finally open again in Carver, so they have Easter and a re-opening to celebrate, making a brunch just not enough. Reserve your spot now for either Easter brunch or dinner. Easter brunch is from 10am-2pm on Sun 4/4 and dinner is from 4-9pm.

Stickemen Beer: This lakeside brewery in Lake Oswego is taking reservations (required) for a prix fixe Easter brunch that's $35pp. You'll be able to pick from several choices for your first course, second course and dessert. Some of our favorite options are roasted cauliflower and brie bisque for a first course, house-smoked salmon cakes with hollandaise with wilted spinach and roasted red potatoes for a second course and caramel cake for dessert. Reservations are being accepted for 9am-1pm that day. Call Stickmen Beer's Lakeside Smokehouse and Brewery at 503-344-4449 to book.

Easter Bunny Chocolates & Other Sweets

In Milwaukie, Enchante Chocolatier is packed to the ceiling with beautiful and whimsical Easter offerings, including chocolates, gummies, home décor and anything you might want to pack an Easter basket with. Just a hop (pun intended), skip and a jump from Enchante, look for the cutest bunny butt cookies at Spring Creek Coffee House. And the new Creators and Curators Market in Milwaukie Floral has all of your Easter tablescape needs, such as beautiful yarn carrots.

Too Sweet Cakes in Lake Oswego has Instagram worthy cookies available as singles or doubles for pre-orders through Sun, 3/28 (available for pickup Fri, 4/2 through Sun, 4/4). If you don't have time to pre-order, you can still find robin egg cupcakes, and other seasonal treats. Plus, you can also order seasonal spring sugar cookies in packs of six, which is the real number of sugar cookies we'd eat in one sitting after opening an Easter basket anyway.

Through Easter, FAT Cupcake, with locations in Oregon City and Happy Valley, is baking up their "Hoppy Easter" cupcake with pink champagne cake, raspberry mouse filling, vanilla buttercream and candied eggs on top.

Polka dot bunnies, solid chocolate roosters, and peanut butter Easter eggs are just a few of the yummy seasonal goodies you'll find at Puddin River Chocolates in Canby. Order online today and pick up in store using code PICKUP at check out, or browse their shop in person. Need some Easter décor? Swing by Swan Island Dahlia Farm's shop for an explosion of spring fun, from Easter egg trees to fuzzy bunny chicks. Open 9am-4:30pm Mon-Fri. Hot tip: Puddin River Chocolates and Swan Island Dahlia Farm are on the Canby Farm Loop.

Book Bunny

If you ever need seasonal or holiday kids and adult books, log away Coffee House 26 in Welches. Easter is no exception with adorable titles from Pete the Cat Big Easter Adventure to a classic The Berenstain Bears and the Easter Story.

Easter Done DIY

Aside from the beautiful scenery and cute downtown, Estacada is where artists go to live and thrive as a community. So it's no surprise you'll be able to find some crafty ways to celebrate Easter and spring there. Wade Creek Vintage Marketplace has fun spring take and make kits with wooden bunnies and paints. Another Instagrammable shop is Hillockburn Farm. Visit the shop in person or order their Easter bouquet online and put your personal touch on the arrangement for the perfect centerpiece.
