Act Lke A Kid At Wippersnappers In Sandy

Wippersnappers

Do your kids have entirely too much energy? Do they sometimes seem to defy gravity as they bounce off the walls? Imagine them doing this while you're on vacation. If only there were a place you could take them to burn off some of that energy. Someplace fun, since putting them to work at a construction site to pay their way is frowned upon. Now there is in Sandy, as Wippersnappers celebrates their second year of operation.

Wippersnappers is more than 5,000 square feet of play structure, bounce house obstacle course, rock climbing fun. The dream of Hans and Tiffany Wipper (get the name?) Wippersnappers is a total blast for kids and parents who are looking for a fun, active place to disconnect from the screens and do some good old fashioned playing. Parents can even join their kids on the play structure, which is sure to delight the young ones who love nothing more than going down a slide with mom and dad.

Mom and dad can also enjoy an adult beverage or some hot food and watch their kids' seemingly endless energy supply as they continue to have fun on the massive play structure. Wippersnappers also recently added another 2,200 sq feet of space that includes two large bounce house obstacle courses and a wiggle cart track. Add in the party room tailor made for birthday parties, and it's easy to see why Wippersnappers has become such a popular spot in Mt. Hood Territory.

Of course you don't have to take some adult's word for it. As you can see in the Facebook Live video below, I brought my soon-to-be 5-year-old son along and he was having such a blast that he didn't even want to take a moment to say how much fun it was. I did manage to get some photos of him at "work" conquering the rock wall, going down the slides and battling the obstacles in the play center. He wants to go back, which is always a sure sign of success in our book.

Wippersnappers is located at 16542 SE 362nd Dr, Sandy. Their hours are 10 am to 8 pm Thursday through Tuesday and Wednesdays from 10 am to 5 pm.
