Jim is the CCTCA liaison to the local level. He represents CCTCA at Chamber functions, coordinates the Community Partnership Program process, he oversees the matching fund programs and assists applicants with a complete application and provides assistance to new partners in learning how to work with CCTCA opportunities.

Samara is the department’s Development Lead, working with industry partners to assist in developing attraction and hospitality services and packages. Samara oversees Tourism’s Development grants, which are focused on expanding local infrastructure to improve the visitor experience. Samara manages the Interactive Electronic Kiosk pilot, Special Service contracts, European Travel Trade and serves on Ski Oregon Board.

Casey is one of the Destination Development Specialists in the department. He works under the direction of the Destination Development Manager. His work involves developing tourism programs with local businesses in the areas of international travel trade, packaged travel and outdoor recreation.

Aaron is one of the Destination Development Specialists in the department. He works under the direction of the Destination Development Manager. Jeannine is responsible for the coordination of the marketing materials including printed, digital, advertising and promotions. She works closely with the marketing agency, Borders Perrin Norrander (BPN), and manages the coordination of the marketing contracts for international and packaged/group marketing, website, fulfillment, and the RCMP programs through Travel Oregon.

Annie is the media relations contact and oversees the communication strategy. She works with publications and freelance writers to both proactively pitch story ideas for the Territory as well as to respond to requests for assistance from the media. She arranges educational (FAM) trips for qualified media. She maintains a database of up to date media contacts, supplies information for guides/directories and serves as the spokesperson for the Territory to the travel media. She assists local businesses and events in the Territory to create media plans.

Dan works under the direction of Jeannine to manage our website – www.mthoodterritory.com - and is responsible for the daily upkeep of the information, the organization of the database, tracking use of the site, monitoring technology trends and recommending changes in the site.

John is responsible for scheduling and appearances of the Mobile Visitor Information Center (MVIC) van at festivals and events in Clackamas County and around the Pacific Northwest. He also solicits coupon offers from tourism partners and develops and implements promotions and contests.

Jarrod handles Mt. Hood Territory’s day-to-day social media presence and local media relations. He also creates and distributes The Territory’s monthly email newsletter, as well as regularly writes original content for its blog. Other duties include handling in-house design and production of promotional materials and presentations, as well as creating photo and video content for multiple channels. Chat with him at #OMHT.

Lizzie serves in a shared position, half-time as the Mt. Hood/Columbia Gorge region PR and project coordinator, providing staff support for all marketing, public relations, travel trade, and development programs for the region. She also serves half-time as the Mt. Hood Territory content and database specialist, providing website and newsletter content, updating business listing descriptions for www.mthoodterritory.com, and writing content for the annual Travel Planner.

Molly is responsible for assisting the marketing and communications team with the day to day marketing efforts. She assists in planning and logistics for media tours, supports the development and proofing of printed materials, maintains the CCTCA database of partners and the website, keeps the lodging listings and calendar of events up to date on the web, coordinates co-op advertising sales, and assists in reporting research studies.
