Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. Along with learning the basics of Palmistry, each student will also leave class with their own personal palm reading. In class, students will use their own hands as the subject of learning, and each student will build a palm reading booklet based on the lines, size, and dimensions of their own hands to discover what it reveals about them and their future.

This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of kayaking in a comfortable setting and at a relaxed pace. You will learn about proper strokes and paddling technique, and get the chance to practice these new skills on a beautiful, local waterway. REI's expert guides will also teach the basics of water safety, trip planning, and how to have an enjoyable time on the water. This is a great way to build a new skill set or improve upon what you already know about kayaking. REI provides kayaks, paddles and all necessary safety equipment.

Join Sandy River Studio to learn how to make pasta from the talented Olivia Hughes who is the pasta maker from Ava Genes restaurant in Portland. Start the session by making a ceramic pasta bowl from artist/studio owner Jaime Holub. Working with a clay slab & mold technique participants will make their own custom bowl and will also pick your glaze color. Then the class will move into making 1-2 types of pasta from scratch. This is a beginners class so there will be a lot of support and instructions. Afterwards we sit and dine together enjoying pasta, salad & wine! You will get to take home fresh pasta & you will receive your ceramic bowl 2-3 weeks later after it has been fired & glazed.

Memorial Sunday Bike Ride with the Winery It's the annual Bike Ride with the Winery - Starting @ the crack of 11am enjoy the very casual 14 mile ride that starts and ends at St Josef's Winery. Ride along the uncongested rolling roads past vineyard lands and farms outside of Canby Oregon. The leisurely ride of 1-1.5 hours is completed by having a tasting with the winemaker of St Josef's new releases along with BBQ lunch from Flying Barracuda BBQ and live music at the winery. Event will take place rain or shine.
