Snow shoeing in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory backcountry.

From sledding, inner tubing, snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing, to snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and sleigh rides, Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory is the mecca for winter snow sports. Come ski and board on more than 3,000 acres of slopes at our three ski areas, including America's largest night ski area and the longest ski season in North America. Strap on your snowshoes or cross-country skis and glide over 200 miles of groomed trails in Government Camp, or rent tubes or toboggans for a fun family outing.

Remember to purchase your Sno-Park permit before heading out for a day in the snow available at area DMV offices, ski areas and some local retail stores. Always check the weather report for current conditions, or visit the USFS USFS Zigzag Ranger District conveniently located off Hwy 26 in Zigzag.

Ride the Timberline Express Ski Shuttle, Monday-Friday, January 4 - March 12, 2010
