2008 OREGON'S MT. HOOD TERRITORY GEOCACHING CONTEST

Official Contest Rules

GPS adventurers…On your Mark! Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory has ten caches located throughout Clackamas County. Download and print the Geocache Log Form from this website. Each cache will also have trinkets. The first 250 participants to find seven out of the ten caches will receive one of our numbered commemorative Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory Geocoins. Those finding all 10 caches by October 31, 2008, will be entered into a random drawing to win a $200 gift package to be awarded in November 2008. Log each site’s code word found written in the bottom of the cache on his/her Geocache Log Form. Completed Geocache Log Forms can be redeemed at any of the three listed Visitor Information Centers in Clackamas County.

To Participate:

• Record at least seven out of ten sites code words.
• Return form to any of the three listed Visitor Information Centers for an Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory Geocoin. (Limited to the first 250 entrants who find seven out of the ten sites.)
• Personal information must be filled out correctly.
• Incomplete entry forms will not be eligible.

Geocoins:
The first 250 Geocache logs with at least seven out of ten sites located and code words completed can be redeemed for a commemorative Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory Geocoin at any of three listed Visitor Information Centers.

Geocache Coins:
Geocache site log entries must be turned in to any of three listed Visitor Information Centers. Only the first 250 entries finding seven out of the ten sites will receive the commemorative Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory Geocoin. Limit one geocoin per entry log form.

$200 Gift Package Prize:
All those finding all 10 of the caches by October 31, 2008, their log entry form will be automatically entered into a random drawing to be held in November 2008, to win a $200 Gift Package from Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory. Winner’s name and city will be posted on the geocaching contest website in November 2008.

Limit one geocoin per entry log form. All federal, state and local laws apply. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary. Clackamas County Tourism & Cultural Affairs is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, damaged or misdirected entries. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decision of the judges. Gift Package Prize is not redeemable for cash nor substitution for prize. Winner is responsible for taxes incurred in claiming this prize. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold sponsors and their respective directors, offices, employees and assigns, harmless against any liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Employees of Clackamas County Tourism & Cultural Affairs, their immediate families, and agents are not eligible to participate.
