Riders up! Explore the Territory from the back of a horse - your own or a rented one. You'll find great riding trails along the Molalla River and in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Mt. Hood Skibowl Trail Rides in Government Camp provides horseback riding and pony rides, and in winter horse-drawn sleigh rides are also available. Adaptive Riding Institute in Scotts Mills has trail horses specially trained to accommodate handicapped riders. If you're travelling with your own horses, the Joe Graham Horse Camp near Timothy Lake is an ideal campground with corrals and hitching posts.
