First Friday Art Shows
Gallery is nestled along the Clackamas River in the heart of the Oregon's Cascade Mountains. Art as varied as the artists that create it. From watercolor to oil, wood to metal, jewelry to sculpture, The Spiral Gallery strives to exhibit diverse and original artwork. The artists that make up the cooperative are all local, living in and around Estacada. 1st Fridays showcase these artists and their many talents.

Tree Farm Walks - Sundays
Join staff and volunteers for a fun and informative tour of the Magness property. You'll learn the history of Magness, some tree identification, as well as why sustainable forestry is so important. No reservations are necessary. They go rain or shine. Wear comfortable shoes and meet in the parking lot.

Sustainable Forestry Tours
Ride along the tree farm bus, making stops along the way for short walks to get a closer look at woodland, reforestation projects, thinning and pruning demonstrations, watershed protection, wildlife habitat enhancements and wildfire prevention. Join volunteers for lunch, bring pot luck, or enjoy a private picnic either before or after your tour. Group size is limited. Guide Dog Monthly Graduation Ceremonies
School for both people and dogs provides enhanced mobility to qualified individuals through partnership with dogs whose unique skills are developed and nurtured by dedicated volunteers and a professional staff. At the conclusion of every class, they hold a graduation ceremony honoring the newly developed partnerships and all of the people who helped to bring about this relationship. Down the River Clean Up
Turning restoration into recreation, We Love Clean Rivers offers the recreation community an opportunity to give back to the Clackamas River. Class II+ and above boaters are organized into pods to run and clean up a stretch of river from Barton down to Clackamette. There are 75 spaces available in event rafts for non-boaters. Volunteer efforts are instrumental on keeping the lower Clackamas River clean as trash builds up on the river banks year after year. Event includes a BBQ & silent auction offering all kinds of river recreation equipment.

The Powerhouse Project: River Mill Dam

Living History Lantern Light Tour - 3rd Annual
Costumed tour guides lead walking tours through the historic district and into homes where visitors will encounter scenes straight out of the history books. Homeowners and community members portray local citizens from the 1908 Town of Willamette perform entertaining vignettes. From the postman gawking over the new Ford Model T (introduced in 1908) to locals discussing the fate of Willamette Meteorite, guests will be enchanted by life ?back in the day.? Mount Hood: The Photographic Subject, 20th Century Black & White Images
Showcases B&W photography of the area from the early 20th century, with an emphasis on works from the Hal Lidell collection in addition to works by other Oregon professional photographers. These photographs document the history of Mount Hood, including changes in recreation and increasing development. Designed to introduce visitors to the collection and celebrate the recent completion of the Mt. Hood Photographic Legacy Project, which digitized and preserved the negative collection. Wooden Shoe Pumpkin Fest
The new fall Pumpkin Fest will celebrate the harvest season first-hand by using sustainable practices. Attendees can pick and cook fresh sweet corn right from the field, purchase and grind their own wheat or watch it turned into pasta (the option will be to purchase the uncooked fresh pasta or buy it cooked to order for lunch.) Festival goers can make soy burgers out of soybeans grown on the farm or select freshly dug potatoes (they?ll have plenty of those!) to buy fresh or to make delicious curly fries on-site. Of course, everyone can ride the cow train through the corn maze, select your own pumpkin to take home, plant tulip bulbs, make dirt babies, enjoy the ducky races, ride the horse swings, visit the autumn themed gift shop and while imbibing local Oregon wines and select Oregon craft brews.

Best Dam 10K Run & Walk
27th annual. An ORRC certified 10K (6.2 mile) all paved road race and walk along a gentle stretch of the wild and scenic Clackamas River in the Cascade Mountain foothills at Estacada just 25 miles East of Portland. Wheel-racers will be accommodated but not animals, buggy, or infant carriers. Start east of Estacada on North Fork Lake. Meanders along the wild and scenic Clackamas River to finish at Broadway in downtown. Farmers Market and musical entertainment. Special prizes and awards. Limited by permits to allow no more than 500 entrants.

Apple Festival
Experience Molalla's proud pioneering heritage as you tour the historic Dibble and Von der Ahe Houses during the Apple Festival. Winter Solstice & Christmas Ships
Held in late December, Milwaukie?s Winter Solstice Event has been a cherished tradition for years. Neighbors gather at the Milwaukie Riverfront Park to view the Christmas ships, warm by the roaring bonfire and enjoy caroling and warm refreshments. The Christmas Ship Fleet averages about 55 to 60 boats between the two Columbia and Willamette River fleets. Both fleets are out every night for two weeks in December.
