EVENTS

Events in Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory offer year-round festivals and activities for the whole family in the greater Portland area. Winter’s event calendar is full of snowboarding and skiing events at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area and Mt. Hood Skibowl, plus holiday happenings at Christmas tree farms. Spring events burst upon the scene with blooming flowers and baby farm animals galore. Summertime is filled with an abundance of outdoor activities, festivals, music events, and Farmers' Markets. Celebrate the fall bounty as local communities provide family fun harvest festivals, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and haunted trails. The Clackamas County Fairgrounds & Event Center offers a variety of events throughout the year, including the Clackamas County Fair and Rodeo. See below for upcoming events, or click the links in the text above for more information on some of our seasonal favorite activities.

Heritage in Focus: A Community-Curated Exhibit Opening Celebration
Historic City Hall

Hear from exhibitors and the curatorial host, the Willamette Falls & Landings Heritage Area Coalition, to describe how their site and story are part of the unique fabric of places and people that make up this region. While not an exhaustive representation of regional history, this installation highlights the richness and diversity of our community. On view at the Community Cultural Center at Historic City Hall in West Linn, this evolving exhibit will return in future years with new voices and new stories. Our opening celebration will be a chance to connect with exhibitors, network with other local history enthusiasts, and share some delicious treats. Heritage in Focus: A community-curated exhibit will be on view until late fall 2026.

Open to all ages! Special prize for the first person to turn in their completed booklet!

This beloved tradition brings together artists, businesses, and the community to create a vibrant, walkable experience full of imagination, wonder, and creativity. 2026 installations include a light display on the large Redwood in Milwaukie Bay Park, an interactive music-light display in the windowfront at BSide Records and an interactive illumidated art peices installed at That One Vintage amoung other displays.
